Bethel College will host a Christian Writers Workshop on March 2-3, 2007. This event will help aspiring writers improve their writing skills through workshops and critiques. The cost for the workshop is $99 with an additional $15 fee for anyone attending the Friday night Dessert and Book Signing at 7 p.m. The Friday night event will feature writers signing their books and a variety of cheesecakes. Registration for the workshops will begin at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, March 3.
The workshops will feature well-known Christian authors Dr. Jerry Jenkins, Andy Sheer, Lois Walfrid Johnson, Holly Miller, Dr. Earl Reimer and Rachael Phillips, who will cover a variety of topics. Participants can choose from sessions on writing fiction, nonfiction and drama, writing for children and young adults and finding an agent.
