The mathematics department of Bethel College is postponing its second annual mathematics competition, due to lack of student participation. The Blaise Pascal High School Mathematics Competition was scheduled to take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, in the Miller/Moore Academic Center of Bethel College. Economic hardships along with the fact that many area schools will be conducting SAT tests that day, may have created the lack of interest. Professors hope to reschedule the competition this spring.
