Bethel will showcase some of its finest, former talents in “A New World Calls Across the Ocean” concert on April 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer/Chapel Fine Arts Center. The show will benefit the Hope Soccer For Christ (SFC) mission trip to Niger, Africa this May.
The concert is packed with show stopping tunes, comedy and some of the good ole classics from Broadway. Bethel alumni Jennie Grunseth (’02), Jeff Cramer (’01), Heidi Ferris (’01) and Shawn Holtgren (’95) will join again onstage to share favorites from “Ragtime,” “Into the Woods,” “The Scarlet Pimpernel,” “Camelot,” “Wicked,” “Oklahoma” and “The Secret Garden.” There will be special appearances by Mark Potuck, Susan Yoder, Jeremy Littlejohn and The Collegians, featuring Jim Pickley on the piano.

Hope SFC is a Christian nonprofit missions organization focused on teaching Brazilian soccer skills and principles of excellence that builds character. It was started by two former Bethel soccer players. One of them is Thiago Pinto (’05), currently Bethel’s new head soccer coach.
