Bethel to Host Basketball Fundraiser to Profit Luvability Ministries

Bethel College will host the sixth annual Luvability in Action Basketball Fundraiser on Friday, May 7 at 7 p.m. in Wiekamp Gymnasium. Admission is a $5 donation.

The basketball fundraiser is one way Luvability raises funds for its ministry which serves the spiritual needs for those who are physically and developmentally challenged. Luvability’s outreach covers northern Indiana and southern Michigan. Director Linda Van Dyke is an author and nationally recognized presence in the field of spiritual development for those with special needs. The basketball game is an opportunity for the disabled community to come and enjoy a game, prizes and meet others in the community.

There will be an All Stars team headed by Mishawaka Mayor Jeff Rea competing against The Luvability Team. The Mishawaka Fire Department also supports this event by providing the referees, announcers, and greeters for the evening.
