The Bethel College theatre department presents “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde and adapted from jacket of Dover Thrift Edition, Thursday, Mar. 24 and Friday, Mar. 25 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday Mar. 26 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now.
From the play’s effervescent beginning in Algernon Moncrief’s London flat to its hilarious denouement in the drawing room of Jack Worthing’s country manor, this comic masterpiece keeps audiences breathlessly anticipating a fresh twist of plot moment to moment.
