Tickets on Sale Now for "The Hobbit"

The Bethel College department of theatre will present J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit,” dramatized by Patricia Gray. Show times are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 6 and Friday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center. Tickets are on sale now.

“The Hobbit” stirs the imagination and intellect of everyone. Bilbo, one of the most conservative of Hobbits, is asked to leave his home in order to set off as chief robber in an attempt to recover an important treasure. It’s the last thing that any sensitive Hobbit would want to do. The epic journey, filled with dwarfs, elves, goblins and other adventures is sure to thrill one and all. It’s a show the whole family can enjoy.

For tickets or more information, call the ticket office at 574.807.7080, Mon.-Fri. 1-5 p.m, or purchase online. The Oct. 7 performance will be interpreted for the d/Deaf community. The cost is $15 for adults and $13 for seniors and students.
