March 09, 2012
The Bethel College Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo will perform its 14th annual Jazz Coffeehouse Concert on Friday, March 16, at 8 p.m. in the Bethel College Dining Commons.
A wide variety of jazz compositions and arrangements will be performed, including compositions such as “Funky Cha-Cha,” “A String of Pearls,” “Milestones” and “Amazing Grace.”
The Jazz Coffeehouse Concert events began in the spring of 1999 by Director Reginald Klopfenstein, D.M., who is a professor of music at Bethel. The tradition and talent of the event will provide a night out for family and friends to enjoy the fine art of jazz music in an inexpensive way. The concert is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.
