Bethel Participates in Indiana's Private College Week: "Go Independent"

Bethel College will be one of 31 schools participating in this year’s Indiana Private College Week, which will take place July 23-27. Bethel will host tours Monday through Friday at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Go Independent!” and some of the schools participating, besides Bethel College, are St. Mary’s College, Ancilla College, Goshen College, Grace College and Valparaiso University. Students between the ages of 16 and 20 who visit one or more of the private colleges and universities throughout the week will be entered into a drawing for an Apple iPad.

Students are encouraged to attend private colleges for the following reasons:

  • Higher graduation rates than public four-year institutions
  • Higher availability of financial aid
  • Smaller class sizes and personalized attention
  • High emphasis on developing personal ethics and values
  • More leadership opportunities in extracurricular activities

To schedule a tour at Bethel College, visit BethelCollege.edu/Visit or call 800.422.4101.
