MISHAWAKA, IND., Jan. 7, 2012 - The Bethel College theatre department presents “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat” by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Thursday, Feb. 14 and Friday, Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center – Auditorium. Tickets are on sale now.
“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat” is a musical parable where the biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to life. Joseph, his father’s favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock ‘n’ roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless.
Purchase tickets online or call the ticket office at 574.807.7080, Monday-Friday, 1-5 p.m. This performance is interpreted for the d/Deaf community on Friday, Feb. 15. The cost is $15 for adults and $13 for students and seniors.
