Bethel College is seeking comments from the public about the college, in preparation for its 10-year re-evaluation by the Higher Learning Commission. Accreditation is a voluntary, peer review process that evaluates an institution’s ability to meet educational standards. Bethel College has been accredited by the Commission since 1971.
Bethel will undergo its routine comprehensive evaluation visit Oct. 9-10, 2017, with a team representing the Commission. The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the Commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.
As part of this process, the public is invited to submit comments regarding the college to the following address:

The public may also submit comments on HLC’s website at www.hlcommission.org/comment.
All comments must be received by Aug. 1, 2017. Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs. Comments must be in writing.
