Local Colleges Host Information Day for Hispanic Students

On Tues., May 9, Bethel College will host Hispanic Day for local Hispanic high school students. The event is a partnership between Bethel and Ancilla College, Goshen College, Holy Cross College, Indiana University South Bend, Ivy Tech College, and Saint Mary’s College.

Students will attend sessions to learn about college planning, financial aid, student life and the programs available at area colleges. They will also hear from a panel of local Hispanic college students. More than 300 students and chaperones are signed up for the event.

“This day is designed to help Hispanic and Latino students get information on topics that are of special interest to them, and help them know more about the programs and services offered by our area colleges,” says Redgina Hill, Bethel’s director of diversity and inclusion.
