Bethel College Team Provides Help to Victims of Hurricane Harvey

Members of the Bethel College Women’s Soccer Team will travel to Houston, Texas, next week to provide assistance to those affected by Hurricane Harvey. They will partner with Bethel alumni LJ Evers and Joe Hutchinson, who work for the Keystone Project in Houston, to deliver supplies and help the nonprofit provide disaster relief.

The Bethel College Weaver Gallery presents faculty exhibitions by Kari Stieglitz Black and Chad Eric Jay. Black is featuring a series of artworks, including painting, drawing and ceramics, entitled, “Through My Eyes, By My Hands.” Jay is featuring a series of digital print that can be viewed with 3D glasses.

Bethel College Music Department Presents: Fall Faculty Recital

The program will feature a wide variety of music for marimba, piano, timpani and voice, including John Bergamo’s Four Pieces for Timpani, O amores from L’Amico Fritz, by Pietro Mascagni, and several piano arrangements by Marilynn Ham.

The 2018 edition of “America’s Best Colleges” ranks Bethel No. 38 on the list of “Best Regional Universities – Midwest.” This is the fourteenth consecutive year that Bethel College has been recognized as a top tier college by U.S. News Media Group.

Bethel College to Host Free College Fair

Bethel College will host more than 30 Christian colleges for the annual South Bend/Mishawaka Christian College Fair on Monday, Sept. 25 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., in the Wiekamp Athletic Center, 1001 Bethel Circle, Mishawaka, Ind. High school, junior high, and junior college students and parents are encouraged to attend.

Washington Monthly has ranked Bethel College No. 2 of 364 colleges in the Midwest on its 2017 list of the “Best Bang for the Buck Colleges.” Bethel jumped four spots from the 2016 list and is the only Indiana college to make this year’s top 15.

Bethel College Master’s Programs Ranked No. 44 in the Nation

Washington Monthly has ranked Bethel College No. 44 of 632 national colleges and universities on Washington Monthly’s 2017 list of “Top Master’s Universities.” Bethel jumped four spots from the 2016 list and is one of only two Indiana schools in the top 100.

Bethel College presents “Operatic Irregulars,” including the world’s shortest opera

Bethel College will present “Operatic Irregulars,” a performance filled with fast-paced comedy, on Sept. 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center – Auditorium, 1001 Bethel Circle, Mishawaka, Ind. Admission is free.

Spring 2017 Dean's List

Bethel College announces the 2017 Spring Semester Dean’s List. Eligibility for the Dean’s List requires a 3.50 GPA with 12 or more semester hours.
