Bethel Community Participates in Collegiate Day of Prayer

On Thursday, Feb. 26, Bethel students, faculty and staff will join more than 3,000 colleges across the nation in participating in the annual Collegiate Day of Prayer. This year marks the 200th anniversary of the year that the American church agreed to hold special prayer meetings on behalf of our colleges and universities.

Schauss Named Capital One Academic All-America® of the Year

Senior guard Matt Schauss was named 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-America® of the Year for the College Men's Basketball Division. Teammate Zach Miller was also honored, becoming the only member of the 2014-15 Capital One College Division Academic All-America® Men's Basketball Team to earn multiple All-American nods.

Pilots Sweep the Track and Field Indoor National Championships

On Feb. 21 the men's and women's track and field teams claimed both team titles at the 2015 NCCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. National honors were also captured in eight individual events and a total of 20 all-American honors were collected by individuals and relay teams. Congratulations Pilots!

Spanish Chef José Miguel Ouro Exposito is visiting Bethel College and cooking for students, faculty and staff. His visit is part of the 2015 Global Chef Program sponsored by Bethel’s food service provider, Sodexo.

Lightfoot Becomes All-Time Winningest Coach for Indiana Colleges

After Tuesday night's overtime win against Huntington University Bethel College men's basketball coach Mike Lightfoot achieved yet another historical milestone becoming the all-time winningest head coach at a four-year Indiana college with 735 career wins.

Bethel Recognizes GREAT Employees

President Gregg Chenoweth, Ph.D., recognized several Bethel employees for doing an exceptional job in living out the GREATer priorities. He and the department vice presidents presented the awards at a special ceremony in November.

Students Unplug to Build Community

Bethel students are saying good-bye to electronics for a week in order to focus on building community. This is the eighth annual “Dude Week,” a time when those living in the men’s residence halls commit to fasting from video games, television and any computer time that doesn’t involve homework.

Bethel hosts career and internship fair with 100 local employers attending

The Bethel College Career Services Office is hosting a career and internship fair on Thursday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wiekamp Athletic Center on Bethel’s campus. Representatives from 100 employers will be on hand to talk about available jobs and internships.

Fall 2014 Dean's List

Bethel College announces the 2014 fall semester Dean’s List. Eligibility for the Dean’s List requires a 3.50 GPA with 12 or more semester hours.

Bethel College programs rank in top ten among all Indiana colleges

The College Compare website released rankings for 2014 listing Bethel College in the top 10 of all Indiana colleges and universities for five areas of study – religious studies (No. 3), legal (No. 3), athletics (No. 4), human biology (No. 9), and medicine (No. 9).
