Bethel College Mourns Loss of Biblical Scholar

Professor of Old Testament and Scholar-in-Residence Eugene Carpenter, Ph.D., passed away July 2, 2012, while fishing by himself in Michigan. He was 69 years old.

Deborah Gillum, Ph.D., of Syracuse, Ind., will soon be Bethel College’s new dean of nursing. She replaces Carol Dorough, Ed.D.

Bethel to Host SOS Student Weekend

Bethel College will host the SOS (Summer of Service) student weekend for incoming 6th graders to graduating seniors, providing them with campus housing at a reduced cost.
