Bethel College Celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day

The Bethel College Office of Diversity & Inclusion invited students, faculty and staff to celebrate the life and impact of Martin Luther King Jr. with activities that included a chapel service presented by the Billy Kirk Scholars and viewings and discussion of the movie “Selma.”

Bethel College Hosts “Unleashed” Prayer Conference

Bethel College is hosting the “Unleashed” prayer conference on Feb. 19-20. The focus of the conference, led by Pastor Corey Jones, senior pastor of Crossroads Tabernacle in Fort Worth, Texas, is that we might be “unleashed,” by coaching in and practice of prayer that changes things.

Employer Registration Open for the Bethel College Career and Internship Fair

Employer registration is now open for the Bethel College career and internship fair, to be held Wednesday, March 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wiekamp Athletic Center on Bethel’s campus. Registration is free and open to employers seeking to fill internships and salaried positions.

Pinto Named NCCAA DI Men's Soccer Coach of the Year

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced on Wednesday that Bethel men's soccer head coach Thiago Pinto has been named the NCCAA DI Men's Soccer Coach of the Year. This national honor comes after Pinto led the Pilots to a runner-up finish at the 2015 NCCAA National Tournament.

Community Health Worker Training Continues at Bethel College

Community members have another opportunity to become a certified community health worker (CHW) by attending a three-day training at Bethel College, Feb. 8-10.

Bethel Hosts International Fundraising Expert

Jerold Panas, author of “Asking,” the highest-selling book in the history of fundraising, will speak at a nonprofit fundraising workshop at Bethel College on Jan. 14 from 9-11 a.m. in the Middleton Hall of Science, Octorium. The event is open to nonprofit professionals and volunteers interested in raising more money for their organization.

Bethel College Professor Releases New Piano Book “Great Day!”

Bethel College Associate Professor of Music and Artist-in-Residence Marilynn Ham has released her 26th piano book, “Great Day! 10 Spirituals for Solo Piano.” Its release coincides with her 26th year of teaching at Bethel.

Bethel’s Adult and Graduate Studies Office Partners with Pulse FM

The Adult and Graduate Studies office is partnering with Pulse FM to be a “Force for Good” in the community by collecting donations for local food pantries. Pulse FM will be on the Bethel College campus at the Sufficient Grounds Café & Campus Store on Thursday, Dec. 3 from 5 to 6 p.m. Everyone who brings a bag of groceries during that time will be entered to win tickets to a special showing of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Join us in helping to fill food pantry shelves in our community!

Bethel College is ranked number one on the list of “Top 50 Christian Colleges and Universities Exceeding Expectations.” The list was compiled by Christian Universities Online and highlights schools that enhance their students’ academic careers from acceptance through graduation.
