Bethel College presents: “Shadowlands”

Tickets are on sale now for “Shadowlands,” presented by the Bethel College Theatre Department. Performances are Thursday, Sept. 29 and Friday, Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m.

Bethel Offers Assistance to Displaced ITT Tech Students

With the news that ITT Tech is suddenly closing all campuses, including the one in South Bend, Bethel College is stepping in to help local students complete their degree. Bethel has a more generous credit transfer policy than many other institutions and is prepared to assist displaced students so they can continue their education without disruption.

Bethel and Visit South Bend Mishawaka Partner to Stop Human Trafficking

Bethel College and Visit South Bend Mishawaka are working to prevent human trafficking in our area by offering a seminar for hospitality and tourism professionals, who can be in a unique position to spot the subtle tell-tale signs of a person being trafficked.

Bethel to Host Free College Fair

Bethel College will host more than 30 Christian colleges for the annual South Bend/Mishawaka Christian College Fair on Monday, Sept. 26 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Wiekamp Athletic Center. High school, junior high, and junior college students and parents are encouraged to attend.

Bethel Ranked in Top Ten, Top Fifty on Washington Monthly Lists

Washington Monthly has ranked Bethel College No. 6 of 367 colleges in the Midwest on their 2016 list of the “Best Bang for the Buck Colleges.” Bethel was also ranked No. 48 in the nation on the list of “Top Master’s Universities.”

Bethel named as a College of Distinction, sixth year in a row

Bethel is one of nine Indiana colleges to be recognized as a 2016 College of Distinction, and one of 59 schools in the nation to be named a Christian College of Distinction. This honor is given to colleges and universities that excel in the Four Distinctions: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities and successful outcomes.

Crowd and Workplace Safety Workshop

Bethel College and Visit South Bend Mishawaka are partnering to offer a safety workshop for hospitality and tourism professionals and others who work with large crowds. The event, prompted by recent tragedies such as the mass shooting in Orlando, aims to increase awareness and preparation in the event of a crisis.

HCM Records Hosts Master Class with Award-Winning Producer and Songwriter

HCM Records will host an exclusive Christian Songwriting Master Class with Billy Smiley on Saturday, Aug. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bethel College. Smiley, one of Christian music’s most successful songwriters and producers, will collaborate with participants and help them take their songwriting skills to the next level.
