Bethel to Host Faculty Spring Colloquia Lecture Series

Bethel will host the second spring faculty colloquium lecture series called “Does War Work? Thinking About Conflict in the 21st Century” on Thursday, April 4 at 3:30 p.m. in the Academic Center, Room 342. John H. Haas, Ph.D., associate faculty in history, will discuss the nation's recent wars, whether they have achieved what Americans hoped from them, why or why not, and what they may have to teach us about war in the future.

7th Graders Become College Students for a Day

Students from Jefferson Intermediate School will experience “college for a day” at Bethel College. Half the 7th grade class will visit on Wednesday, March 20, and the rest will visit on March 21. “College for a day” is a unique experience sponsored by Ivy Tech, the University of Notre Dame, Indiana University South Bend and Bethel College where middle school students can see firsthand the opportunities that college has to offer.

iShineLive! Visits Bethel on its Last Stop of the Tour

Bethel College will be hosting the final stop on the iShineLIVE! Tour, a unique faith-based concert tour designed specifically for kids under the age of 14 and their families on March 17 at 6 p.m. in the Everest Rohrer Auditorium; doors open at 5 p.m.

Rwandan Hero to Receive Honorary Doctorate from Bethel

Bethel College will award an honorary doctorate to religious and political activist in Rwandan politics, Frank Habineza, on March. 15. The event will take place during chapel inside the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center — Auditorium at 10 a.m.

Bethel College will be hosting a free family program given by noted children’s book editor Chris Soentpiet on Tuesday, March 26 from 6-8 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center – Auditorium.

Jazz Styles Performed by Bethel Students

The Bethel College Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combo and Faculty Jazz Trio will perform its 15th annual Jazz Coffeehouse Concert on Friday, Mar. 22, at 8 p.m. in the Bethel College Dining Commons. This event is free and open to the public.

President Cramer Named Business Person of the Year

Bethel College President Steven R. Cramer (’75) was recently named “Business Person of the Year” during the Mishawaka Business Association’s (MBA) annual meeting and awards dinner last month.

Bethel Participates in Michiana Spring College Fair

Middle and High School Students Become CEOs for a Day at Bethel

Middle and high school students will become “CEO” for the day in a friendly competition known as the TCU/JA Titan Challenge on Friday, March 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bethel College in Goodman Gymnasium, located inside the Wiekamp Athletic Center.

Bethel to Host Career Fair for High School Students Involved in STEM

Bethel College will host a career fair for 100 to 150 11th graders from Penn-Harris-Madison School (PHM) and other area schools on March 7, from 9 – 11:30 a.m. in the Middleton Hall of Science Building.
