Concert Band Shows Off Talent in Free Performance

The Bethel College Concert Band, under the direction of Professor of Music Mike Kendall, will perform its free fall concert on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center.

Orchestra Presents Free Chamber Concert

 Bethel College will host a community blood drive Oct. 6, from 10:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Goodman Gymnasium.

Every year, Bethel students, faculty and staff set aside an entire day to serve alongside one another in the community during a campus-wide service day. This year the event took place on  in early October from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All classes before 6 p.m. were cancelled for the day so all students, faculty and staff may attend.

Bethel Celebrates with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremonies

 Bethel College will host a “Day of Celebration” with ribbon-cutting ceremonies for each of the newly renovated and reopened buildings on campus: the Dining Commons, Wiekamp Athletic Center, Goodman Gymnasium and the Otis Bowen Museum on Thursday, Sept. 15. Events will start at 8:45 a.m. and finish up around 9:15 a.m.

Bethel Ranks 20 in U.S. News Media Group's America's Best Colleges

Bethel earned the 20th spot among the Midwest’s Best Baccalaureate Colleges in the 2012 edition of “America’s Best Colleges” by U.S. News Media Group. Nationally there are 371 schools in the Regional Colleges category and overall Bethel came in at 55. That puts Bethel in the top 14 percent of all Baccalaureate Colleges.
