Music Professor Releases Newest Piano Book

Marilynn Ham, associate professor of music and artist-in-residence at Bethel, and Alfred Music Publishing Co., Inc. recently released her newest piano arrangement book entitled “Come Unto Me: 10 Comforting Solo Piano Arrangements for Worship.”

Beginning fall 2012, new Bethel College students will benefit from two changes to the Missionary Church Scholarship and the New Alumni Legacy Award.

Bethel Celebrates with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremonies

 Bethel College will host a “Day of Celebration” with ribbon-cutting ceremonies for each of the newly renovated and reopened buildings on campus: the Dining Commons, Wiekamp Athletic Center, Goodman Gymnasium and the Otis Bowen Museum on Thursday, Sept. 15. Bethel Ranks 20 in U.S. News Media Group's America's Best Colleges

Bethel earned the 20th spot among the Midwest’s Best Baccalaureate Colleges in the 2012 edition of “America’s Best Colleges” by U.S. News Media Group. Nationally there are 371 schools in the Regional Colleges category and overall Bethel came in at 55. That puts Bethel in the top 14 percent of all Baccalaureate Colleges.

Bethel Hosts Free College Fair

Bethel College will host more than 40 Christian colleges for the annual South Bend/Mishawaka Christian College Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Wiekamp Athletic Center. High school, junior high, junior college students and parents are encouraged to attend.
