Bethel to Host SOS Student Weekend

Bethel College will host the SOS (Summer of Service) student weekend for incoming 6th graders to graduating seniors, providing them with campus housing at a reduced cost. Roughly 400 teenagers and volunteers from 25 local church youth groups will participate in the four-day, three-night, service-oriented event from June 14 to 17.

Bethel Athlete Coordinating Second Spring Blood Drive

Bethel College will host a community blood drive on Thursday, April 26 from 10:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Goodman Gymnasium. Coordinated by softball player Danielle Reilly (’13), this is the second drive on campus this spring.

Bethel Hosts Community Blood Drive

Bethel College will host a community blood drive Thursday, Feb. 9, from 10:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Goodman Gymnasium. Softball player Danielle Reilly (’13) is coordinating this event and has set a goal to receive 107 units of blood. The American Red Cross is down 93,000 units of blood in this fiscal year in comparison to last year.

Every year, Bethel students, faculty and staff set aside an entire day to serve alongside one another in the community during a campus-wide service day.
