Marketing and Communications
Reporting directly to the assistant vice president of enrollment and marketing, staff from the office of marketing and communications (MarCom) regularly advise college administrators, faculty and staff on issues that could affect constituents’ perception of Bethel College. The MarCom staff assists campus departments in a variety of areas, including publications, marketing, advertising, communication strategies, media relations, photography, print coordination, social media and promotion.
MarCom is also responsible for maintaining consistency with the institution identity in the production and use of the college’s logos as well as the design of college publications. Those publications include the Bethel Magazine, the academic catalog, admission, alumni, and development communication materials and many other brochures and publications that provide information to Bethel’s various constituencies.
In addition, this department distributes news about the college to the media and coordinates all college responses to media inquiries and is the office to seek assistance in dealing with the news media. The director of marketing and communications serves as a media liaison for the college.
