Administrative Offices - Public Relations

The staff of the public relations office are available to assist you in a variety of areas, including publications, marketing, advertising, media relations, photography, print coordination and promotion. The public relations office is also responsible for the production and use of the College's institutional logos as well as the design of College publications.

The public relations office communicates news about Bethel College to the media. The director of public relations serves as spokesperson for the College and as media liaison. The office produces most college publications including the Bethel Magazine, the academic catalog, admission, alumni, and development pieces and many other brochures and publications that provides information to Bethel's various constituencies.

Reporting directly to the assistant vice president of enrollment and marketing, the public relations office is responsible for disseminating news about Bethel to external audiences and responding to media inquiries. It is the place to send information and to seek assistance in dealing with the news media. The office also regularly advices the administration on policy issues that could affect the public's perception of Bethel College and develops communication strategies.
