- Emergency Phones:
- Emergency phones are located strategically around the Bethel Campus. Each phone has a one touch button which connects to 911 and Campus Safety. Emergency phones are located:
- between Goodman Gym and Shupe, towards McKinley Ave
- by the bookstore
- by the drive through gate by the baseball field
- in the logan village parking lot
- Medical Response:
- All patrol officers are first responder trained and prepared to respond to medical emergencies on campus and to activate the Emergency Medical Services System.
- 24 Hour Escort Service:
- Campus Safety offers a 24 hour escort service available to anyone uncomfortable traveling alone on campus at any time. Please feel free to call Campus Safety, and an officer or volunteer will meet you and escort you to where you need to go.
- Disaster Drills:
- Campus Safety will assist in maintaining a state of preparedness by conducting periodic disaster drills including fire, tornado, hazmat, etc.
- Lost & Found:
- Campus Safety keeps lost and found for the campus. Items that are found and turned in to the Campus Safety office will be logged and kept in the possession of the department. Items that are not claimed two months after they are turned in will be donated to Goodwill.
- Vehicle Registration:
- For the safety of the campus community, all vehicles must be registered with Campus Safety and properly display a current parking decal. This allows Campus Safety to enforce traffic regulations making traffic and parking as safe and convenient as possible for faculty, staff, students, and guests. It also enables Campus Safety to contact a vehicle’s owner in case of emergency.
- Vehicle Lockouts:
- BCCSD provides vehicle lockout services to vehicles on campus. If you have locked your keys in your vehicle, contact Campus Safety. You’ll be required to sign a waiver of liability before services will be provided.
- Vehicle Jumpstarts:
- BCCSD provides vehicle jumpstart services to vehicles on campus. If your vehicle won’t start, contact Campus Safety. You’ll be required to sign a waiver of liability before services will be provided.
- Room Lockouts:
- In instances where you are locked out of your room/office and are unable to receive access through your Resident Director or Facilities Manager, contact Campus Safety to provide access. For dorm lockouts there is a $5 fee. You may be asked to provide identification.
