Bethel College Cheerleading Program 2009 Summer Camps!
The Bethel College Cheerleading Program has multiple opportunities for cheerleaders of all ages and skills levels. This summer we are very excited to offer our regular day camps at Bethel College AND private camps that will come to your school and cater to your squad’s needs!
Bethel Mini Day Camp
This camp is designed to provide an introduction of basic skills and techniques of cheerleading to your younger child, ages 5-10. Focus will be placed on motions, dances, and jumps, with a brief and basic introduction to tumbling and stunting.
- Date: July 27-30
- Check in Time: 8:30 - 8:55 a.m. on the first day of camp
- Times: 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Awards Program: Thursday, July 30th at 11:00 a.m.
- Location: Bethel College
- Cost: $80.00 per child
Bethel Elite Day Camp*
This camp is planned to meet all your squad’s needs and is designed especially for the middle school and high school cheerleader. Upon completion of the camp, your squad will receive a CD that contains all music used at camp and a DVD that contains all the materials taught at camp.
- Date: July 27 - 30
- Check in Time: 11:30 - 11:55 a.m. on the first day of camp
- Times: 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Awards Program: Thursday, July 30th at 3:00 p.m.
- Location: Bethel College
- Cost: $80.00 per cheerleader (For squads that bring 10 or more members of the team, a 20% discount will be applied)
*It is not required for coaches to attend this camp with their squad, although coaches are encouraged to attend, especially if the entire team or large portion of their team is attending.
If you are interested in having your squad attend either the Elite Day Camp, please fill out the 2009 Bethel Sports Camp Application along with the Health Examination Form, which can be printed from the Sports Camp tab on the Bethel Athletics website. Every cheerleader must have this completed and on file in order to attend camp. If additional forms are needed, you can make copies of the forms or call 574-807-7425 to receive additional forms. The deadline for signing up for this camp is Wednesday, July 1st. All forms and money are due by this date. In order to receive the “team discount” all applications, health forms and money must be turned in together.
Private Camps*
These camps are great for squads to obtain one-on-one instruction and are designed to meet all your squad’s needs! Your squad can choose to schedule a 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day private camp with a select few of our college cheerleaders. Upon completion of the camp, your squad will receive a CD that contains all music used at camp and a DVD that contains all the materials taught at camp.
- Dates: Private camp dates are available the month of June through July 25th on a first-come basis (dates are also subject to availability of staff, so early registration is highly recommended)
- Times:
- 1-Day Camps: Saturdays only, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- 2-Day and 3-Day Camps: Your choice of days and times
- Location: Your school’s campus
- Costs:
- 1-Day Camps: $60.00 per cheerleader
- 2-Day Camps: $100.00 per cheerleader
- 3-Day Camps: $140.00 per cheerleader
