The Bethel College baseball team improved to 27—22 with the 9—1 win over the University of St. Francis in the opening round of the MCC tournament in Marion, Ind.

Chad Emberton pitched a complete game while scattering five hits and striking out five to pick up the victory for the Pilots.

Bethel will now take on Taylor University on Monday starting at 12:00 pm in Marion, Ind.
