Baseball Pulls Off Another Upset In MCC Tournament
Game Summary
The Bethel College baseball team pulled of its second consecutive upset in the MCC Tournament as they took down the No. 2 seed Taylor University by a final score of 4—2 on Monday afternoon in Marion, Ind.
Elliot Rowe pitched a complete game to lead the Pilots to victory. Rowe allowed seven hits and zero earned runs with seven strikeouts. Bethel was held to just three hits but got RBI‘s from Jon Rolon, Mike Green, and Lucas Bradbury to push as across four runs for the victory.
The Pilots will now take on the winner of the Marian versus Taylor contest on Tuesday starting at 1:00 pm with a trip to the MCC Tournament championship game on the line.
