Game Summary
Baseball’s MCC Tournament run ended on Wednesday with a 13-4 loss to Taylor University in the championship game played in Marion, Ind.
Playing for the fifth time this season, the Pilots and Trojans met Wednesday with a trip to the NAIA National Tournament on the line. Bethel was never able to get things going as Taylor scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning and then added eight huge runs in the fourth inning to take a commanding lead.
The Pilots did manage to score four runs on eight hits but were never able to draw very close as Taylor pounded out eleven hits on four different Bethel pitchers.
With the loss the Pilots fall to 29-24 on the season.
