Northridge's Troyer Signs With Bethel Baseball And Soccer

Northridge High School senior Cody Troyer has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and athletic careers at Bethel College in both baseball and soccer starting in the fall of 2009.

Troyer, and infielder and pitcher in baseball and a goalie in soccer led the Raiders baseball team to a NLC Championship and a 25-4 record during his junior season. Cody batted .374 with two homeruns and 18 RBI on offensive while earning a 6-1 record with a 2.39 ERA on the mound for Northridge last season.

“Cody is a very good athlete who will represent two programs here at Bethel very well,” said head baseball coach Seth Zartman. “Cody is a solid kid from a very supportive family and he will be a great fit for Bethel athletics. I am very pleased to have him a part of our program.”
