Pilots' Dream Season Comes To An End In National Semifinal
Game Summary
The Bethel College men’s basketball team’s dream season came to an end in the NAIA National Championship semifinals with a 73-64 loss to the College of the Ozarks on Monday night.
Bethel took a six point lead into halftime but were outscored 44-29 in the second half to fall to the Bobcats. The Pilots shot 31% in the second half compared to C of O’s 52% shooting.
Bethel was led by NAIA National Player of the Year, William Walker’s 25 point 15 rebound effort. Tyler Brown added 16 points and 6 rebounds while Kory Lantz chipped in 11 points.
Bethel finishes the season with a 33-4 record and the MCC regular season and tournament championship.
