Men's Golf Signs Northwood Standout Brady Klotz

Bethel College men’s golf coach Chris Hess is proud to announce the signing of NorthWood High School’s Brady Klotz. Klotz will graduate this June and will join the Pilots in the fall of 2009.
The Pilots will be losing two of their best players to graduation in Eric Lebold and Jon Bonfiglio, so the addition of Klotz is a timely one for Hess and the Pilots, who will return a very young but talented team in the fall.
“Brady is the kind of young man that will make an immediate impact on our team and on our campus,” said Hess. “There is no question that he possesses the skills to succeed on the golf course and he has a great discipline and desire to be great at whatever he takes on. In addition to golf, Brady is an excellent student and has a lot of great things ahead of him on and off the golf course.”
Brady is a two time All-Northern Lakes Conference selection and is a regional qualifier on two occasions. Last Year, Klotz’s nine hole scoring average was 37.4. “Brady has a very strong work ethic and a competitiveness that is rare in high school athletes. He has a strong desire to succeed in the classroom and on the golf course and I know Brady will be a wonderful addition to Bethel College and its men's golf team,” said NorthWood boys golf coach Brad Duerksen.
“I'm very excited to become a part of the Bethel golf program,” said Brady. “It is a great opportunity for me to compete and grow spiritually. God has given me many blessings throughout life and this is a great one. I plan on bringing in a hard work ethic to help my team compete at the national level.”
Bethel has finished in the top 20 in the nation the past two years and will begin their spring schedule at Indiana Wesleyan’s Invitational, April 3-4 at Meshingomsia Country Club.
