Men's Soccer Rolls Past Saint Ambrose
Game Summary
The Bethel College men’s soccer team completed a successful trip to Iowa and improved to 2-0-1 on the season with a dominating performance over Saint Ambrose University on Saturday afternoon.
The Pilots used an impressive first half to jump out to a 4-0 lead with goals by Joao Couto, Jorge Marquez, Romulo Nobrega, and Tim Jenkinson.
With the match firmly in control, the Pilots added second half goals by Martin Ruiz and Nick Bartlett to cap the 6-1 victory.
Cody Troyer needed to make only two saves on the day while Doug Eubank added save in the second half.
The Pilots travel to Marion, IN next weekend to take on the Illinois Institute of Technology on Friday and NAIA No. 14 ranked Hannibal-LaGrange College on Saturday as a part of the Indiana Wesleyan University Tournament.
