Men's Soccer Make Alumni Proud with 7-2 Win Over Taylor
Game Summary
A day filled with activities celebrating alumni and 40 years of Bethel soccer ended with a flurry of goals and another victory for the Pilots.
Daniel Moyo led the scoring against Taylor with 3 goals and 1 assist. In the first half, Bethel had allowed Taylor to stay close with the scoreboard reading 4-2 as the two teams traded goals through the first 20 minutes of play.
In the second half, Bethel finished the job and put Taylor away with three goals to end the contest 7-2. Tim Jenkinson, Jorge Marquez, Martin Ruiz, and Ryan Needs each scored a goal to add to the Moyo's hat trick.
Bethel will continue MCC play on Wednesday, October 14th, against Indiana Wesleyan University. The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm in Mishawaka.
