Nobrega's Hat Trick Sends IWU Packing
Game Summary
The NAIA No. 10 ranked Bethel College men’s soccer team added another win to improve to 13-0-1 on the season with a 3-2 victory over Indiana Wesleyan University on Wednesday night.
Bethel sophomore, Romulo Nobrega led the Pilots with his second hat trick in as many games as he knocked in goals in the 18th, 43rd, and 58th minutes of the contest.
After Nobrega’s first goal, the Wildcats answered with a goal of their own to knot the match at one. Nobrega gave the Pilots back the lead as the first half came to a close and then added an insurance goal early in the second half. The Wildcats added a late goal off a free kick in the final minute but the game was already in hand for the Pilots.
Bethel will now hit the road and take on the University of Saint Francis on Wednesday afternoon starting at 4:00 pm.
