Men's Soccer Clinch MCC Title with Overtime Win at Saint Francis
Game Summary
The No. 10 ranked Bethel College men’s soccer team improved to 14-0-1 on the season with the 1-0 double overtime win at the University of St. Francis on Wednesday evening.
Reining MCC Offensive Player of the Week Romulo Nobrega knocked in the game winning goal off an assist from Martin Ruiz with four minutes remaining to seal the victory for the Pilots.
The win clinches the Mid-Central College conference regular season championship for Bethel. The Pilots will now have home field advantage throughout the MCC tournament.
The Pilots look to continue their undefeated ways as they close out the regular season with a trip to Marian University on Saturday night with kickoff set for 7:00 pm.
