Nobrega Named MCC Offensive Player of the Week
Bethel College sophomore Romulo Nobrega has been named the Mid-Central College Conference men’s soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
This marks the third consecutive week that a different Bethel soccer player has been given the award.
Nobrega played in only one match during the week but recorded his second hat trick in as many games played in the Pilots’ 3-2 victory over Indiana Wesleyan University. Nobrega currently leads the No. 10 Pilots in scoring with 13 goals and 2 assists and is ranked 14th in the NAIA in total goals scored.
The Pilots put their 13-0-1 record on the line this Wednesday as they travel to the University of St. Francis for a 4:00 pm MCC matchup in Fort Wayne, Ind.
