Linda Sommers, ATC is entering her third year as the assistant athletic trainer at Bethel College.
Sommers, a 1995 graduate of Anderson University, earned her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. Following her undergraduate work, Linda earned her graduate degree in Education at Campbell University while serving as an athletic trainer for the Camels' athletics programs.
After completing her degree, Sommers moved to Marion, Indiana where she served as the Head ATC and Program Director for several years at Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2005 Linda moved into the role of adult studies nursing recruiter at Bethel College as her husband Ryan became the Head Cross Country Coach for the Pilots. Shortly after that, Linda began her athletic training and teaching career at Bethel. Linda is responsible for providing coverage for Men's and Women's Cross Country, Volleyball, Men's Basketball, and Men's and Women's Track and Field.
Linda resides in South Bend, IN with her husband Ryan and their dog, Bailey. The Sommers are expecting their first child in October.
