Game Summary

Freshman hurdler Robby Burns led the way for The Bethel College Track and Field teams at the Indy Twilight Qualifier held at the IUPUI Track stadium in downtown Indianapolis.

Burns bettered his time in the 110m hurdles at the qualifier by running an NAIA qualifying time of 15.00. Burns was also part of the 4x400m relay team along with Jordan Heim, Nate Phillips, and Jontae Randolph that ran a season best time of 3:18.07. That mark also was also an NAIA qualifying time. Pacing the way for the ladies was freshman hurdler Lauren Brown. Brown ran a season best time in the 100m hurdles of 15.68 just missing the NAIA standard.

The Pilots will have their final tune up before NAIA Outdoor Nationals by competing at the MCC—WHAC Challenge this Saturday, May 9 at Indiana Wesleyan University. The Bethel track and field program currently has 18 individuals and six relay teams qualified for Outdoor Nationals to be held in St. Louis, Missouri May 21—23.
