Bethel Track And Field Set To Compete At NCCAA Indoor Nationals
The Bethel College track and field program will participate this Saturday, February 21 at the NCCAA Indoor National Championships at Cedarville University in Ohio. The Pilots will be well represented at the national meet as 39 women and 31 men will participate.
Leading the men will be NAIA Indoor National qualifiers JJ Jackson in the shot put and weight throw along with long jumper/sprinters JW Maierle and Trent Chupp and high jumper Diondre Lewis.
The Lady Pilots will be led by NAIA Indoor National qualifiers Nichole Arnold in the shot put and weight throw, pole vaulters Danae Ellison, Ann O’Keefe, and Caitlyn Gager, jumper Amanda Westcott, sprinters Kaila Stevens, Beenne Capre, Heather Rathbun, Samantha Etter, Jessica Spearman, and Lauren Pridgen, and mid distance runners Irene Kangai, Katie Heisey, Shelby Morrow, and Haliegh Sanders.
