Chrissy is also on the Student Council, National Honor Society, and Word of Life.
“Chrissy had an outstanding senior year at North Newton,” states Head Coach Jody Martinez (Bethel College). “All her success and accomplishments are in due to her work ethic and passion to be the best. She is motivated to play at the next level, and I am glad that level is at Bethel College. She can play different positions for us and has excellent rebounding instincts. We are blessed to have Chrissy join the Lady Pilots family at Bethel College for the 2009 season.”
“I am very excited to be attending Bethel College and playing for Coach Martinez”, states Chrissy Hooks. “After several college visits and playing with different college teams, there was no comparison to the girls and coaches from Bethel to the others. The atmosphere is awesome! What more could I want than to play basketball on the college level while growing in my walk with Jesus Christ!”
North Newton Head Coach Julie Decker says this about Chrissy Hooks: “Chrissy is an amazing young lady, and I’m excited that she has the opportunity to continue to grow as a person and a player in an environment that she is comfortable.”
