Game Summary
On the Women’s side were some strong races, clocked even with the slippery, soft terrain. Among them were Amber Wray’s 18:46, Irene Kangai’s PR of 18:53, demonstrating an aggressive lead while Freshman Jessica Scott fought forward for 3rd on the team and a strong PR of 19:28! Ashley Wray and Katie Heisey also were big contributors to the Lady Pilots top five coming in at 20:00 and 20:24 respectively. There were numerous personal records for Bethel in Grand Rapids!
As a team the Bethel ladies tied 14th ranked Aquinas for 9th place and were 8 points from 18th ranked St. Xavier (Also close to the 16th and 17th NAIA ranked teams). The Bethel Women are stronger every week and are excited for the upcoming Championship season!
