MCC Championship
Game Summary
Nine teams convened at the MCC Conference Championships Saturday, held in Jackson, MI by Spring Arbor University. After months of preparation, Bethel’s athletes were excited and ready to go as this meet determines who in the conference will go to Nationals!
On the women’s side, a valiant effort showed the Lady Pilots are indeed one of the top three in the conference and are deserving of national ranking. Crossing the line in second place, Amber Wray showed great leadership along with Irene Kirathi. Ashley Wray ran an especially tough race with Katie Heisey close in suite clocking one of her best races of the year! Senior Mozy Thiel made a great move stepping up into 7th and senior Carrie Lucas showed tremendous heart and work ethic as always!
Amber Wray qualified for the NAIA meet, and will possibly be joined by other individuals depending on the final ranking that will be released on Sunday.
