Miller Named Cross Country Runner of the Week
Bethel Freshmen Trisha Miller has been named the Mid Central College Conference Runner of the Week for her performance last weekend in the Midwest Classic at Olivet Nazarene University.
Miller finished in third place (within seven seconds of first) at the Midwest Classic. Coach Ryan Sommers held Miller back for the first mile after which she moved up strongly toward the leaders and had arguably the best last two miles of the race.
Miller and the rest of the cross country team with compete next at the Knight Invitational this Saturday in Grand Rapids, Mich.
