Women's Soccer Wins at Taylor
Game Summary
The Bethel College women’s soccer team improved to 5-6-1 on the season with the 2-1 road victory over Taylor University on Tuesday afternoon.
Pua Hall knocked in a first half goal and added an assist to lead the Pilots to victory. Hall’s goal came at the 31:27 mark when she beat a Trojan defender and scored from three yards out for the unassisted goal. Three minutes later, Hall served a ball from near mid-field to Monica Davis who put the ball in the back of the net from ten yards out to give the Pilots the 2-0 advantage.
Taylor tried to mount a second half comeback with seven shots to the Pilots zero, but despite a goal with nine minutes remaining the Pilots came away with the victory.
Bethel has over a week off before they continue MCC play on October 21st with a home contest against Marian University starting at 7:00 pm.
