Soccer Well Represented On The NCCAA All-Region Teams
The National Christian College Athletic Association announced its All-Region teams for Men’s and Women’s soccer recently, and the Pilots were well represented on both teams.
Three Pilots were honored on the Men’s side. Two seniors in Ian Pagan and Scott Terry along with sophomore Arron Patrick were selected to the team. Terry has made 85 saves for the conference co-champions. Terry, along with defensemen Pagan helped the Pilots finish in the top third in the NAIA in goals against per game. Patrick currently has two goals and three assists on the season.
On the women’s side, junior goalkeeper Elyse Powell along with sophomore Abby Husch were selected to the team. Husch scored one goal on the season while helping the defense and Powell to five shutouts. Powell recorded 123 saves on the season which led her to finish in the top 30 in saves per game.
