Women's Soccer Signs Heritage Christian's Meredith Martin
Heritage Christian High School senior Meredith Martin has signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bethel College.
Martin was a four-year starter and letter winner in soccer for head coach Chad Medcalfe. She was also a mentor in the soccer mentor ministry at Heritage Christian. In addition, she was a guard on the Lady Eagles basketball team as Heritage Christian won their fourth consecutive state title in 2009.
"We are very fortunate to be able to add Meredith to our team this fall," said Bethel head coach Pete Morey. “She has a great head on her shoulders and will be a great fit at Bethel. I think her leadership qualities will help us right away, even as a freshman. She had a great visit with us in the fall and will mesh very well with our returning players.”
Meredith is the daughter of Jim and Elise Martin.
