Women's Soccer Adds Hall For 2009

Kamehameha-Hawaii High School senior Pua Hall has signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at Bethel College.

Hall has been a four-year starter and three-year captain for the Warriors and coach Charles Heaukulani. She is a three-time Big Island Interscholastic Federation 1st Team honoree and was the BIIF Player of the Year in 2009.

Hall was also named to the State Tournament team in 2008, a year in which Kamehameha won the Division II State Championship. She has also won an AYSO National Championship.

“Pua is a very special player and I am ecstatic that she is headed to Bethel this fall,” said Pilots head coach Pete Morey. “She is a dangerous player that will draw a lot of attention from the first time she takes the field. She is also very serious about her academics and will be a great addition to our campus. I am excited to see what she will do for us as a freshman.”

Hall becomes the third BIIF Player of the Year to attend Bethel College following Lisa Franke and JoBette Nabarro to the Mishawaka, Indiana campus. Each of those players went on to All-American careers for the Pilots.
