Softball Loses To No. 9 Martin Methodist
Game Summary
In a battle between the NAIA No. 8 and 9 teams at the NAIA National Championship, the No. 9 Martin Methodist Redhawks came out on top of the Pilots by the final score of 1—0.
Martin got their lone run in the bottom of the first inning on a bases loaded walk. The Pilots were unable to scratch across a run despite leaving 10 runners on base and having runners in scoring position in five out of the seven innings.
The Pilots conclude their season with a school record 52 wins and a third straight trip to the NAIA National Championship.
