Cripe And Hire Earn All-American Honors

The NAIA and the NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) recently announced several honors for the record setting 52-7 Bethel College softball team.

Brittney Hire was named an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention for her performance during her senior season. This marks the third consecutive season that Hire has made the NAIA All-American list. Hire finished her career with 71 victories on the mound in just three seasons of action. Hire’s 71 wins ties her for the most by any pitcher in Bethel College history.

The NFCA also announced that Mandy Cripe has earned first team All-American honors.  Cripe, the Mid-Central College Conference Player of the Year, batted .377 on the season with 12 homeruns, 16 doubles, and 52 RBI.

In addition to Cripe’s honors from the NFCA; Katie Boocher, Kaitlyn Dubois, Brittney Fisher, and Sarah Rassi were named to the NFCA Great Lakes All-Region team.
