Volleyball Opens MCC Play With Win Over Grace
Game Summary
The Bethel College volleyball team was dominant in picking up their first MCC win on the road at Grace College on Wednesday night. The Pilots won in three sets by scores of 25—16, 25—15, and 25—14.
“I was proud of how our team played tonight,” said Head Coach Julia Reininga. “We played with complete confidence and we dominated from start to finish.”
Bethel got things going early and never looked back led by Emily Henry’s 10 kills and three blocks. Ashley Wagner served up three aces while putting down eight kills of her own and Sarah Carroll had 14 digs and 11 passes. Ashley Pagel, once again, put the offense in great position with 26 assists on the night.
Volleyball returns to action this weekend as they travel to Marion, Ind. on Friday and Saturday to participate in the Wildcat Invitational.
