Volleyball Tops Huntington
Game Summary
The Bethel College volleyball team improved to 9-8 (2-2) on the season with the 3-1 win over Huntington University on Wednesday night in Mishawaka.
Bethel won by scores of 25-21, 26-24, 18-25, and 26-24.
Leaders for the Pilots include: Emily Henry with 12 kills and 6 blocks; Callie Hartman and Ashley Wagner with 9 kills; Sarah Carroll with 20 digs; and Ashley Pagel with 32 assists.
“Every MCC game is a big one for us,” said head coach Julia Reininga. “I am happy we came out on top but we still need to get more consistent in our efforts. We have a big weekend ahead and I am looking for good things in the future.”
The Pilots will be back in action this Friday and Saturday as they travel to Ohio to compete in the Mount Vernon Nazarene tournament.
