Game Summary
The Bethel College volleyball team improved to 11—8 on the season with two wins on day one of the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Invitational in Mount Vernon, OH.
The Pilots took care of Bryan College in three games by score of 25—11, 25—18, and 25—17 in their first match of the day and then won a five match contest over Roberts Wesleyan College by scores of 22—25, 25—16, 25—14, 8—25, and 15—7 to cap the day.
Leaders for the Pilots include: Emily Henry with 30 kills, 6 blocks, and 2 aces; Callie Hartman with 22kills and 42 digs; Ashley Wagner with 18 kills and 2 aces; Sarah Carroll with 30 digs; Holly Graber with 33 digs and 34 passes; and Ashley Pagel with 2 aces and 77 assists.
Bethel continues action on Saturday at the MVNU Invitational with games against Mount Vernon and Walsh Universities.
